Nursing, Field of Study, Certificate

(Field of Study Requirements)

The Field of Study Curricula is defined as the block of courses which may be transferred to a general academic teaching institution and must be substituted for that institution's lower division requirements for the nursing degree program into which the student transfers. The student shall receive full academic credit toward the degree program for the block of courses transferred.

The Field of Study Curriculum for Nursing is intended for generic baccalaureate degree nursing students who plan to take their prerequisite and core curriculum course at a community college and transfer the block of courses to a general academic teaching institution.
