If, for any reason, a student is unable to decide on a specialization/major, Del Mar College offers a multidisciplinary Liberal Arts degree that they can select in the interim. The multidisciplinary Liberal Arts degree prepares students with the coursework and skills optimal for transfer to the widest number of in and out-of-state institutions, while allowing for a select number of electives based on student educational and career interest. All students should work with an academic advisor or career counselor to select an appropriate major and to ensure their coursework aligns for transfer to a 4-year institution.
