Associate in Science Degree
The Associate in Science (AS) degree in Computer Programming, Computer Information Systems, or Geographical Information Systems is designed for graduates who will transfer to a four-year university to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (CS) or Computer Information Systems (CIS) or Geographical Information Systems (GIS). Computer Science focuses on the development, evaluation, and integration of software systems. Computer Information Systems and Geographical Information Systems focuses on the development and maintenance of specialized information systems. Electrical Engineering/Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering are also Associate in Science degree offerings.
