LGLA 2266 requires the intern to work a minimum of 224 hours during the 16-week semester (approximately three and a half months long).

The program does not qualify a graduate to take a State Bar Exam, represent clients in court, give legal advice or provide independent legal services directly to the public except as permitted by law.

Students must take at least nine semester credits or the equivalent of legal specialty courses through synchronous instruction.
