Corporate Services: Training Grant Procurements
Del Mar College proudly partners with Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) on grant funded programs to strengthen the skills of the workforce by partnering with eligible businesses and industry of the Coastal Bend to provide training at no cost.
Grant Programs, to develop the skills of employees in high demand occupations, include the following:
- Skills Development Fund – a customized training solution to upskill the employees of eligible business and industry partners
- Skills for Small Business – supports the training of new and existing employees of businesses with fewer than 100 employees
- Apprenticeship Grants – supports the earn & learn model where on-the-job training is combined with classroom instruction
- JET Grant Program – ISD funding to purchase and install equipment to support CTE programs in high-demand occupations
