The Bachelor of Applied Science: Organizational Management & Leadership program (BAS-OML) examines management in organizations within a foundational business, leadership, and soft skills framework. The BAS-OML degree plan expands upon AAS training garnered from a wide range of DMC and approved externally transferable workforce programs. The degree is 120 semester credit hours (SCH), which includes 42 SCH of core curriculum (required by Texas); 45 SCH of professional development electives; and 33 SCH of applied major courses.

  1. Applied Major Courses (33 SCH): Upper-Level Organizational Leadership courses. These 11 courses are delivered online with competency-based education.
  2. Core Curriculum (42 SCH): General Education courses from the Del Mar College Core Curriculum. These may be taken face to face, hybrid, or online.
  3. Professional Development Electives (42 SCH): Courses transferred from an approved associate of applied science degree feeder program or other electives.
