The Biology Program provides coursework for students to obtain an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Biology. The AS degree is transferable to colleges and universities for those pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, as well as related baccalaureate degrees such as environmental sciences and biomedical sciences. Additionally, the program includes a plan that offers the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Field of Study in Biology course curricula for transfer to an upper-level higher education institution program in this field.
