Program Student Learning Outcomes

  • New Technologies - Students will demonstrate a variety of technical skills and knowledge in new fabrication technologies such as 3D printing, CNC machines, and Lasercutting and associated software. Students will also demonstrate an understanding of how to prepare digital files for fabrication on various equipment.
  • Design Concepts for Manufacturability - Students will demonstrate knowledge and skills in Design for Manufacturability through development of 3D prototypes using industry required software skills.
  • Materials and Methods - Students will demonstrate knowledge and skills in a variety of fabrication materials and techniques to develop prototypes.
