Second Warning: Probation II (Continued Probation)

Students who continue on academic probation for more than one semester and complete 13 credit hours or more and have less than a 2.0 cumulative GPA will continue to be on probation. Continued probation means you can still enroll at the College but are still not in good standing. Students will receive correspondence from the Dean of Student Engagement and Retention outlining next steps. As with Probation I, a registration hold is placed on the student's account. Removal of the registration hold requires completion of three sequential steps: 1) registration in an Academic Recovery Course in Canvas, 2) completion of the course and a scheduled visit with an Advocacy Specialist, and 3) another meeting with an Advocacy Specialist during the semester to review progress. Students are encouraged to meet with their program/academic advisor before registering for courses. Students with less than 30 semester credit hours must meet with their academic advisor.
