Bachelor's Degrees

Del Mar College offers the Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Management and Leadership Program designed to provide students with earned Associate of Applied Science Degrees or Level II Certificates an opportunity to complete a baccalaureate degree in a targeted occupation at Del Mar College.

Responsibilities for BAS-OML Degree

  • Successfully complete 120 semester credit hours which includes 42 semester credit hours of general education core coursework, 45 semester credit hours of technical courses from an Associate of Applied Science Degree or Level II Certificate, and 33 semester credit hours earned in the BAS-OML major courses.
  • Have completed an approved Associate of Applied Science Degree or a Level II certificate and have earned a minimum of 60 semester credit hours. Note: All awards must be from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Have general admission to Del Mar College.
  • Have demonstrated college readiness in English, Reading, and Math.
  • Have an overall GPA of 2.0 or better.

Del Mar College offers the Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) post-licensure program designed for the registered nurse with an associate degree or diploma who desires to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.

Responsibilities for BSN Degree

  • Successfully complete 120 semester credit hours which comprise of 90 semester credit hours that includes 54 semester credit hours of general education core coursework along with 36 semester credit hours of associate degree nursing courses with the remaining 30 semester credit hours earned in the RN to BSN track.
  • Have a minimum of a "C" grade in all prerequisite, core coursework, and nursing coursework and an overall GPA of 2.5 or better (nursing coursework must be from an accredited nursing program).
  • Have a current, unencumbered Texas or an Enhanced Nurse License Compact RN license.
  • Must meet the Technical Standards required by the Program.
