Paralegal Studies Program
Notwithstanding the provisions detailed in the Transfer Policy for Legal Specialty Courses (LGLA), in no circumstance will a student be awarded a PLGL.AAS degree or PLGS.ATC certificate unless at least nine (9) hours of paralegal specialty course work has been completed at DMC in a traditional class format, either face to face or synchronously.
Program Transfer Credit Policy: Del Mar College Paralegal Studies Program may award transfer credit for LGLA designated, legal specialty courses, except for LGLA 2266, on a case-by-case basis determined by the Director of the Paralegal Studies Program and the Department of Public Service Chair, subject to approval of the divisional dean in compliance with the Transfer Policy for Legal Specialty Courses, that is available for inspection and copying at the Paralegal Studies Program Director's office.
