Course Description
Synthesis of previous knowledge and skills provide the foundation for development of the baccalaureate prepared nursing roles as a provider of patient-centered care, patient safety advocate, member of the interdisciplinary team, and member of the profession. Discussion includes examination of historical aspects of healthcare and nursing as a profession, analysis of nursing theory, application of clinical judgement, legal and ethical standards, professionalism, teamwork, and collaboration.
