Basic Peace Officer, Certificate

The Del Mar Regional Police Academy is a semester-length, intensive certificate program for individuals who have applied and been accepted by the Del Mar College Regional Police Academy. This includes completion of the academy application, interview and all mandatory requirements set forth by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE). The course work encompasses classroom lecture, practical exercises and skills training/labs that are established by TCOLE as per the Basic Peace Officer Course (BPOC). Upon successful completion of the academy, the candidate may be eligible to take the TCOLE Basic Peace Officers Examination.

Additional Information
When the student completes this certificate, the student may be eligible to take the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) Basic Peace Officer Licensing Exam.
