It is strongly suggested that the student complete ITSC 1301 or COSC 1301 before starting GISC 1311.

It is strongly suggested that the student select the courses that best fit their academic and occupational goals.

If not already applied in the requirements for GIS - Level I, Occupational Skills Award (GIMA.OSA), the student can use either GISC 1421 or GISC 1491 to fulfill the requirements for GIS - Level II, Occupational Skills Award (GIMS.OSA). The student can use either GISC 2131 or GISC 1372. To fulfill the requirements for GIS - Level II, Occupational Skills Award (GIMS.OSA).

Students should meet with their advisor concerning GIS occupational plan. Consult your academic advisor about the stackable GISC awards, certificates and degrees. Students considering transferring to a four-year degree program at a university should consult an advisor. Many courses from CGIS.AAS Occupational Degree will transfer. Consult your program advisors.
