Course Description

The Math Non-Course Based Option (NCBO) is designed to help students strengthen their mathematical foundations to be successful in College Algebra. MATH 0371 Elementary Algebra and MATH 0373 Intermediate Algebra are both remedial classes that serve as the foundation for College Algebra. Topics in this course will tailored to the individual needs of the student. The content in this course may include the following topics: linear equations and inequalities, polynomials, factoring, rational expressions and equations, functions, and systems of linear equations.

Prerequisite(s)

TSI score of 349 or TSIA2 of 949; no prior mathematics developmental education courses taken and consent of Dept. Chair.
