Course Description

An introduction to concept-based learning with emphasis on selected pathophysiological concepts with nursing applications. Concepts include acid-base balance, elimination, fluid and electrolyte balance, genetics, immunity, infection, inflammation, gas exchange, perfusion, metabolism, coping and tissue integrity.
