Course Description
MUSI 1181. PIANO I (1-1-1) Class instruction in piano. Three practice hours per week including one hour at the piano lab. Seven solo pieces, sight-reading and transposition on grand staves, harmonization using I and V chords, scales and arpeggios on white key major. Enrollment in MUSI 1211 and 1216 is encouraged. Prerequisite: Ability to read both the treble and bass clefs. Assessment Levels: R1, E1, M1. 50.0907
