Course Description

MUAP 1281. VOICE I. Private instruction in applied music is offered in the following fields: piano, voice, violin, viola, violincello, double bass, classical guitar, jazz guitar, electric bass, percussion, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, trombone, baritone, tuba and harp. Any of the following courses may be repeated for credit. One one-hour private lesson each week, one-hour lab. This classification is for credit in the principal instrument or voice for students working toward as Associate’s degree in Music and for students in other departments of the College who demonstrate adequate proficiency. Instructor approval required. Jury required. Assessment Levels: R1, E1, M1.

Prerequisite(s)

Must have a level 1 in Reading, English and Mathematics.
