Course Description
ARTS 2356. BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOGRAPHY The purpose of this class is to develop an expressive visual language using the traditional photographic materials. Skills include: camera operation, film exposure and processing, darkroom printing. Relevant historic and contemporary photographers and approaches will be covered. Beyond this, each student will be encouraged to practice B & W photography to develop a personal vision. Students must supply paper, film and othe necessary supplies. 35 mm cameras are available for checkout. Assessment levels: R1, E1, M1.
Prerequisite(s)
Must have Level 1 in Reading, English and Math.
